We have so many summer birthdays in the family, myself included, that I do think of birthdays for a summer card.
Recently, I completed an inventory of my DSP; I found my Gingham Gala pack and coordinating sequins. I just ordered and received the Shaded Summer stamp set. It was a natural to put them together for a monochromatic card. I used a neutral for the sentiment with a little linen thread bow.
My sweet MIL is visiting. My DH is occupying his mom with a jigsaw puzzle while I created and posted this card. I will comment as I can. Thanks for looking!

Very nice! That was smart of you to think monochromatic when designing this card for the summer gingham challenge. Crisp, clean and classy and a great way to showcase an image that has lots of solid spaces and thicker lines. Popping this into my Favs for inspiration!

Beautiful CAS card, Diane! Love that you used lavender tones, a favorite! The gingham, stamping, and clean lines give it richness and a classy look.
